Bunkertown regularly contributes to the support of missionaries, evangelists, and numerous service projects. On designated Sundays of the calendar year, pledged offerings with monetary goals calculated by our average church attendance are lifted for each of the following outreach programs.
- Bob & Carol Givens are missionaries from our community who are serving in Paraguay through SIM-USA. Their daughter Stacey who is serving in Bolivia, also receives support from our members independently.
- Sarah Keckler is ministering to the Gunano indian tribes in Columbia through New Tribes Missions. Nearby missionaries have been captured by terrorist guerrillas. Prayers have resulted in the release of one.
- Delbert Benner, a former resident of our community, is "side-walk" preaching on the streets of major US cities through Open Air Evangelism.
- Phill Carlos Archbold runs a shelter in Brooklyn, NY called "The Positive Place." Our youth group recently went by chartered bus to assist in it's maintenance, and participate in worship services.
- David Hummel, one of our own church members, is reaching the youth of our local school districts through Youth for Christ. He works full-time in YFC and depends on regular, pledged giving from many groups, churches, and individuals.
- Child Evangelism Fellowship is an organization that targets children in Juniata, Perry & Mifflin counties with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Special Offerings - Bunkertown also supports Beef Canning Project for World Hunger, Heifer Project International, PA Council On Alcohol Problems, Church World Service Blanket Program, 2 Cent Club (world hunger), and Gideons International.
- Disaster Response - A few of our members are committed to disaster response, and frequently travel to different parts of our country to assist in the rebuilding of areas that have been damaged by natural disasters.
- Blanket Program - We praise God and humbly boast that our Lord has seen fit to richly bless our members in that Bunkertown has been the top donor church "in the nation" in total donations for several years beginning in 1984 to the Church World Service Blanket Program. May the Lord continue to bless our pledged outreach to others less fortunate than ourselves.
