Web Development Check out the latest updates to our website. Changes might be something small or something large; something trival or something great. Look here first to discover what we've done. Latest updates are usually, but not always, at the top of the list.
  • CHRISTIAN EDUCATION is a new web page to augment the educational interests and trainings of our congregation. Here you will find Brethren documents, Historical documents, Suggested reading, Topical Bible Verses, and new Membership information.
  • TOP MENU was restructured to accomodate a growing number of materials and new web pages. INFORMATION is a new entry which now comprises other former top menu pads such as Activities and History.
  • eBROCHURE is a sophisticated page flipping ebook provided for "First Visitors" to Bunkertown when a special friend is not available to prepare them for that first experience. Open it and learn how it can be helpful to someone that you would like to invite. Pages can be changed by dragging from the corners or by clicking the left and right arrows.
  • SPECIAL DOCUMENTS is a new section of our News area. Here you will find pertinent information, monthly calendars, and online fillable forms which can then be saved to your local computer or mobile device. Unfortunately, the Firefox browser started using their own PDF viewer, so filling and saving forms may not work unless you reconfigure to their plugin.
  • PRESCHOOL is a new section that has been added to enable parents to learn more about the Preschool ministry and how their child may benefit from the program. Information includes ministry introduction, registration form, photos, and hours of operation.
  • STITCHARITY (Stitching for Charity) is a new web page that celebrates the few individuals skilled in numerous disciplines of needlecraft involving yarn and thread, such as cross-stitch, knitting, crocheting, and quilting, who regularly donate their time and materials to produce amazing creations for the benefit of various charities.

Bible Study
Bible Study Bible Study is an important element of the spiritual agenda at Bunkertown. We regularly offer inspiring studies that challenge and guide. Discussions are uplifting and promote awareness of believers at different levels of spiritual growth. Contact the church office for times, topics, and meeting location. Join us for this important part of Christian living.

Mission Offerings
Offering Learn about the several Mission Offerings that we receive to support various ministries both local and international. Each month we emphasize a different outreach ministry.

Offering Envelopes
Offering Envelopes Think about using a Church Offering envelope if you want a year-end report of your giving. It's also a nice way to keep your contribution a private matter. If you do not already use envelopes and would like to start, please inform the Church Secretary.

Food Pantry Challenge
Groceries The Juniata County Food Pantry is counting on you to donate non-perishable food items, house-hold goods, bathroom supplies, or personal hygiene items. Please check Sunday worship bulletins or monthly Newsletters to learn what is needed for the current month. Place items in the narthex Collection Bin.

Weis Card
Weis Card Every time you use your Weis pre-paid shopping card, the participating store will donate 5% of the sale to the Bunkertown Church of the Brethren. If Weis is your grocery store of choice, then why not benefit yourself and our church.

Children's Bell Choir
Hand Bell Children are invited to participate in the Bell Choir. When in session, practice is usually held in the Conference Room between morning Worship and Sunday School. Please ask the church office for information about schedules.

October (tba)
Crop Walk Icon CROP WALK is an opportunity to alleviate hunger through the simple act of walking. Join with other participants on the walking track at Walker Township Park, located on the north side of Route 75, just west of the Route 322 Port Royal Exit. Check our bulletin for time of Registration and when the walk begins. It's also an opportunity to improve your health while benefiting many others.

Volley Ball
Volley Ball Everyone needs spiritual growth and physical exercise to maintain a good life. Over the Winter season, we offer both through the excitement of Volleyball and a quick biblical discussion. Please ask the church office about dates and times.

Please Donate Blood
Give Blood Contact the American Red Cross or check the list of places on the Bulletin Board. Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for your donation. When you make a blood donation, you join a very select group of people. Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America donate blood.
