Faith Preschool is sponsored by the Bunkertown Church of the Brethren, a ministry outreach to children of the surrounding community. In modeling Christ in our community, we have a biblical responsibility to heed His mandate, "... tend My sheep." To meet this challenge, we shall provide a ministry where children are nurtured physically, socially, educationally, and spiritually.
Registration for Faith Preschool is on a first-come first-serve basis. Please register your child early to reserve a space. A Registration form must be completed for each child. Fill out the form online. Save it to your computer. Mail it to Faith Preschool along with a $25.00 non-refundable deposit. This fee is NOT applied to your tuition. All checks should be made payable to Faith Preschool. We offer a free "Parent's Handbook" for more detailed information and mutual expectations (pictured at right).
Classes run from September through May. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 9:00-11:30 a.m. / 12:30-3:00 p.m. In order to provide a consistent experience for your child, it is important that he/she attends regularly. Snacks are provided by Faith Preschool. Not only do we provide nutrition, but also work on good manners and develop good eating habits. In the interest of safety, please accompany your child directly to the classroom, and only persons authorized to pick up the child may do so. Thank you for your cooperation.
Our theme verse is Isaiah 55:11
"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth. It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the things for which I sent it."
Faith Preschool endeavors to mature your child in each of these areas: Bible Stories and Songs, Name Recognition, Shapes, Colors, Numbers, Alphabet, Writing, Socialization, Plant & Animal Life, Nursery Rhymes, Health & Hygiene, Manners, Weather, Holidays, and Families. And this all takes place within the special environment of a church.
Your child will also be involved in activities that focus on learning in a social climate. Activities include "Kitchen Kapers" where each child will experience hands-on in-the-kitchen procedures, show and tell, book exchange, special guests, and finally, the thrill of their first graduation.
